Dr. Autumn Burns

Chiropractor

Born and raised in Ohio, Dr. Burns has always viewed the Bay Area as her second home after vacationing to the area throughout childhood. She was inspired by her father's career as a paramedic to devote her life to helping others. After seeing the amazing benefits her mother received from chiropractic care during battle with breast cancer (which she won!), she knew that her goal would be to help her community live a healthy, pain-free life.

Education
Dr. Burns attended Florida State University, where she received the distinction of Cum Laude for her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. She then moved to St. Petersburg, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate in Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences. Dr. Burns joined the Farkas Chiropractic family in order to pursue her dream of helping her community get healthy and stay healthy in a more holistic, natural way.

As a board-certified acupuncturist, she has seen first hand how effective acupuncture can be for her patients. Chiropractic care combined with acupuncture is a winning combination that takes patient care to another level!

Dr. Burns also learned of the importance of protecting and advocating for her profession. She serves on the board of Directors for the Pinellas County Chiropractic Society, and is also a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association.

When not treating patients, Dr. Burns can usually be found at the gym lifting weights, crocheting clothing and blankets for family and friends, or at home playing with her cats, Bowie and Freddie Mercury.
